Introducing our newly enhanced, renamed Audatex Estimating tool – Qapter Estimating

Solera has introduced an upgraded interface and new name for our popular Audatex Estimating tool – welcome to Qapter Estimating!

Qapter is the same comprehensive database and accurate calculation engine users across Canada currently know and love, but now with a more modern, easier-to-use interface. We’ve improved fonts for easier reading, and placed icons and buttons in more intuitive locations. To go along with this improved look and feel, Solera updated the product’s name from being known for 20-plus years as Audatex Estimating (ADXE), to the more modern and reflective name, Qapter.

There are other key features to the updated estimation tool. Qapter is optimized for tablet usage and enables multi-browser support, meaning appraisers and estimators have more flexibility to write sheets anytime, anywhere. In fact, an estimator can start writing the sheet on a PC using Chrome or Microsoft Edge and then switch to an iPad or Samsung Galaxy to add images and finalize their estimate.

The feedback about the new UI has been quite positive.

“Qapter Estimating is really intuitive and has a very clean look and feel,” said Lucas from ASC Collision Repair. “Qapter is much easier to write an estimate and manage your work. Overall, it delivers a great experience for the estimator.”

Most users are finding Qapter Estimating easy to navigate. “The workflow for writing an estimate is very smooth. Also, it was easy to learn the basics to get going right away. I definitely would recommend Qapter Estimating to other repair shops,” said Jun, from Fairview Auto Centre.

Currently, the version is being rolled out to select independent shops across Canada. A broader rollout will commence later this year.
